Plaza Valerio advance into Santiago League Finals

Plaza Valerio became the first Santiago finalists. They overcame CPN 81-78 in the third game of the semifinal series to complete the sweep. Oliver Garcia (188-G-1996, agency: Ballerz Unlimited LLC) sank a late three-pointer to propel Plaza Valerio to the decisive victory. He finished with 23 points, while Devin Brooks (186-G-1992, college: Creighton) added 16 points for the winners. Terry Larrier (203-G/F-1995, college: UConn) answered with 24 points for CPN.
GUG toppled Sameji 101-95 to gain 2-1 lead in the series. Juan Miguel Suero (196-F-1993) stepped up with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, while Willy Nunez Jr. (198-F/G, college: Rider) contributed 22 points for GUG. Jonathan Araujo finished with 27 points and 16 rebounds for Sameji.
